Group Exhibition, Chahardah Gallery, Video & Installation – 2023
I traveled to various geographical places. Forest, desert, mountain, plain and lake. I designed and built a wooden structure from Russian wood in such a way that it could be assembled without tools, and I set it up in each area where I stopped. A cotton fabric made of natural fibers covers the space around the structure. Then I would be placed in the space I had created. Throughout the journey and during the moments of setting up the structure, I recorded the moments with two cameras. One camera was attached to a part of my body. And the other was a still camera that frequently recorded the ongoing moments.

I compiled the recorded videos and displayed them on a screen along with an arrangement of structure shots and a route map in the terrace section of the gallery so that the weather and sky changes could be felt in the space during the show.
The project deals with my personal concern. At that time, I was thinking more than ever about the separation of man from nature. Although man considers himself a part of nature, the cities where he lives and his productions completely separate him from other creatures and nature, and he lives as an alien creature on earth. This made me question my thoughts about the real house. I asked myself, what is my relationship with nature and living in it? I wanted to connect a little with my original hometown and make my house both an independent space and connected to the environment. The tall buildings of the city have completely separated me from nature. And I see my body as alien to nature.
